Literature (Mark Knight and Jeff Keuss)

The Literature Panel invites proposals for 20-minute papers on any topic/period/genre/form that connects literature to the conference theme of Dis-ruptures, but is particularly interested in those that do so in relation to one of the following areas:

·        The role of literature and/or criticism in the modern university

·        Experimental forms of literature/criticism

·        Canonicity

·        Bodies

·        Memoir and/or personhood

·        Trauma and/or war

Presenters will be expected to deliver their paper in person and should note that they can only be accepted by one panel at the conference. If you are submitting proposals to multiple panels, please let us know at the point of submission.

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, include a title, be accompanied by a 1-page CV, and be sent to Jeff Keuss (Fuller Seminary) at jeffkeuss@fuller.edu and Mark Knight (Lancaster University) at m.knight@lancaster.ac.uk no later than 31st January, 2026.
